The final reason for the frustration with other timer apps was I often wanted to have more than timer going at once. (Say, one for the meat and one for the vegetables!) In fact, its so lightweight that it doesnt even need to be running to be working! Once a timer (or many!) are started, you can completely close the app if you dont need to watch it! Even turn off your phone! It doesnt matter! When you finally come back to the app, your timers will still be there, showing the correct time!
